The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Nebraska Panhandle
Eastern and North-central Wyoming
* Effective this Monday night from 610 PM until Midnight MDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Widely scattered severe storms including supercells will
pose a risk for large hail and severe-caliber wind gusts this
evening.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80
statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles east of Cheyenne
WY to 35 miles northwest of Gillette WY. For a complete depiction of

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
