The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Southeast Kansas
Northeast Oklahoma
* Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 1110 PM
until 400 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75
mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...A cluster of storms will continue to move eastward across
southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma into the overnight, with
damaging winds and isolated severe hail remaining possible.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles west of
Bartlesville OK to 10 miles north of Grove OK. For a complete

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
