URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 416 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1055 AM CDT Thu Jun 29 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Middle Tennessee * Effective this Thursday morning and afternoon from 1055 AM until 400 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A well-organized cluster of strong/severe storms will likely continue to progress south-southeastward into and across Middle Tennessee through early/mid-afternoon, with damaging winds and occasional hail as the primary concerns. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles north of Nashville TN to 75 miles south of Nashville TN.
