Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible SUMMARY...A small cluster over southwest Virginia should progress east-southeast into north-central North Carolina with a continued threat for isolated damaging winds over the next few hours. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles north northwest of Raleigh NC to 15 miles southeast of Roanoke Rapids NC.
