URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 451 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1155 PM CDT Wed Jul 5 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Northwest and North-Central Oklahoma * Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 1155 PM until 800 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Multiple rounds of storms will spread east-southeastward into northwest/north-central Oklahoma overnight, potentially culminating in a well-organized convective line with an increased wind damage potential. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 80 miles west southwest of Alva OK to 30 miles east southeast of Enid OK.
