The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Southwest Kansas
Northwest Oklahoma
Texas Panhandle
* Effective this Thursday night and Friday morning from 1155 PM
until 600 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
inches in diameter possible
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop
east-southeastward across the region overnight, with large hail and
locally damaging winds possible.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles south southeast
of Guymon OK to 60 miles north northeast of Garden City KS. For a
