URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 465 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1105 AM EDT Sun Jul 9 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Far Northern Delaware Northeast Maryland Western New Jersey Eastern Pennsylvania Coastal Waters * Effective this Sunday morning and evening from 1105 AM until 600 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Thunderstorm coverage is expected to increase over the next few hours, resulting in widespread overall coverage. A few stronger storms are possible, with damaging gusts as the primary severe risk. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles north of Allentown PA to 35 miles west southwest of Wilmington DE.
