URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 486 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1000 PM CDT Fri Jul 22 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Northwest Minnesota Northeast North Dakota * Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 1000 PM until 400 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A cluster of storms with embedded bow and supercell structures will continue to move east-southeastward through the overnight hours toward northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Damaging winds up to 70 mph and isolated large hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter can be expected. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles west northwest of Devils Lake ND to 15 miles southeast of Thief River Falls MN.
