URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 562 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 805 PM CDT Fri Nov 4 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South-Central Missouri * Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 805 PM until 100 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A line of storms will continue to steadily move northeastward across south-central Missouri this evening. A modestly moist air mass and strong deep-layer/low-level winds will support the possibility of damaging winds, and perhaps a brief tornado risk. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles north northwest of West Plains MO to 15 miles south southwest of West Plains MO.
