URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 567 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1125 AM CDT Sat Jul 29 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Extreme west central and southwest Illinois Northern and eastern Missouri * Effective this Saturday morning and evening from 1125 AM until 700 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...A long-lived cluster of storms, with a history of damaging winds, will likely persist through the afternoon while moving across northern Missouri and toward the Saint Louis vicinity. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles either side of a line from 25 miles southwest of Chillicothe MO to 10 miles south of Scott Afb IL.
