Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms are expected to form and spread east-southeastward across southeast Virginia and southern Maryland through late evening, with an attendant threat for damaging gusts and isolated large hail. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles south of Charlottesville VA to 35 miles south southeast of Wallops VA.
