Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...A band of thunderstorms is expected to persist through the afternoon while moving southeastward, with the potential to produce occasional wind damage. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 10 miles west of Tuscaloosa AL to 20 miles east northeast of Atlanta GA.
