The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Small part of eastern Georgia
  Southern South Carolina
  Coastal Waters

* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 740 PM
  until 300 AM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Several strong-severe thunderstorms should move into the
watch from remaining parts of eastern GA and central SC, offering
mainly damaging to severe gusts.  Isolated severe hail also may
occur.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30
statute miles either side of a line from 115 miles west southwest of
Charleston SC to 40 miles east northeast of Charleston SC. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
