URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 73 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 930 PM CDT Tue Mar 29 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of West-central and North Texas * Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 930 PM until 200 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Bands of storms will continue to develop and intensify as they move east-northeastward across the region through the late evening and early overnight hours. Damaging winds and severe hail are the primary concerns. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles north northwest of Mineral Wells TX to 60 miles west of Junction TX.
