URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 12 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 355 AM EST Wed Jan 4 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southern and eastern Alabama Western and central Florida Panhandle Western and central Georgia Coastal Waters * Effective this Wednesday morning from 355 AM until NOON EST. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...An increasingly organized band of thunderstorms should move eastward from older tornado watch 11 and across this watch through midday. This activity will move through a favorable environment for damaging nontornadic thunderstorm wind as well as the threat for a couple tornadoes. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 100 statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles east southeast of Pensacola FL to 55 miles north of Macon GA.
