The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Western to northern Arkansas
  Southern Missouri

* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 755 PM
  until 200 AM CST.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible
  Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
    to 75 mph possible

SUMMARY...Long-lived supercell in north-central to northeast
Arkansas should pose a near-term tornado threat. Otherwise, an
intensifying linear cluster with embedded supercells is expected to
evolve along a sharpening cold front from western Arkansas into
southern Missouri with a tornado and damaging wind threat.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
east and west of a line from 50 miles north of Poplar Bluff MO to 50
miles south southwest of Russellville AR. For a complete depiction

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

OTHER WATCH INFORMATION...This tornado watch replaces tornado
watch number 33. Watch number 33 will not be in effect after 755
PM CST. 

AVIATION...Tornadoes and a few severe thunderstorms with hail
surface and aloft to 1.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
gusts to 65 knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 450. Mean
storm motion vector 25040.
