URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 545 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 445 PM EDT Tue Sep 27 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Central and south Florida Coastal Waters * Effective this Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning from 445 PM until 500 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible SUMMARY...Major Hurricane Ian will continue to move north-northeastward toward the southwest Florida coast through early Wednesday. East and northeast of the center, occasional supercells and a few tornadoes will be possible this afternoon across south Florida and the Keys, and overnight into parts of central Florida. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles south southwest of Naples FL to 20 miles south southeast of West Palm Beach FL.
