URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 63 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 405 PM CDT Tue Mar 22 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Alabama Western Florida Panhandle Far Southeast Mississippi * Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 405 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...Severe storm/tornado risk will continue east-northeastward this evening into additional parts of Alabama as low-level shear remains strong. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 35 statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles east northeast of Huntsville AL to 20 miles east southeast of Mobile AL.
