URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 64 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 655 PM CDT Tue Mar 22 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Western Alabama Southeast Louisiana Southeast Mississippi Coastal Waters * Effective this Tuesday evening from 655 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes likely Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Scattered large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...A broken squall line will progress east across the central Gulf Coast states this evening. A few tornadoes are likely and damaging gusts are possible with the more intense storms. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles northeast of Meridian MS to 25 miles west southwest of Gulfport MS.
