URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 663 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 755 PM EDT Wed Aug 30 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Eastern North Carolina Coastal Waters * Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 755 PM until 400 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible SUMMARY...The threat for brief tornadoes associated with TC Idalia will likely continue through the rest of the evening into the early morning hours across eastern North Carolina. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles north of Cape Hatteras NC to 40 miles south southeast of Wilmington NC.
