URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 68 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 310 PM EDT Wed Mar 23 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Coastal Waters * Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 310 PM until 900 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...An isolated tornado threat, aided by a possible MCV via decaying convection, may continue to develop east-northeastward across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia this afternoon. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles southwest of Waycross GA to 15 miles south of Brunswick GA.
