URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 88 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 225 PM EDT Thu Mar 31 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Eastern Maryland Northeast North Carolina Southeast Virginia Coastal Waters * Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 225 PM until 800 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered thunderstorms will affect the watch area through the afternoon, will occasional supercell storms. Locally damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes are possible. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles east and west of a line from 5 miles northeast of Patuxent River MD to 35 miles south southeast of Raleigh NC.
