The cold front is getting closer to Jefferson County and the storms have lost most of their intensity now. We are seeing a weak outflow has developed ahead of the storm and it is causing additional cells to fire. I’m expecting moderate wind and rain with these storms as they pass with heavy lightening. Below is the overall radar picture right now.
Below are volume images from the cell near Manhattan. The first just shows the main “core” of the cell, the second shows the overall picture.
The last picture shows the cell popping up just behind the outflow South of Holton.
