Central Kansas Extreme south central Nebraska Far northwest Oklahoma * HAZARDS... Several tornadoes, a few intense Widespread large hail, some baseball size Isolated damaging winds * SUMMARY... Severe thunderstorms capable of tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging winds are expected Thursday across much of the southern Nebraska, Kansas, western Oklahoma, and parts of west-central Texas. Isolated large hail and damaging winds will otherwise be possible over a broad area of the central and southern Plains. Preparedness actions... Review your severe weather safety procedures for the possibility of dangerous weather today. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, weather.gov, or other media for watches and warnings. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes to form during the next several hours.
